The Humanity of Lum A. Gashi
A young man named Lum A. Gashi appeared in the offices of RENESANSA and his wish was extremely impressive:
expressed the desire that for 5 years he has grown his hair he wanted to donate to people with cancer.
He came with his mother Mrs. Lule and with great joy donated his hair.
We have the greatest responsibility to fulfill this wish of Lumi and his mother like him to the end by donating it to a person who has lost his hair due to therapies in the fight against cancer.

Think Pink Europe family keeps growing! Welcome our newest member: Renesansa!
RENESANSA is a Kosovar breast cancer organisation founded in 2017 in Prizren by survivors, whose aim was to create a structure to support women diagnosed with breast cancer. Facing the lack of information and support, they want to be a key player in the fight against breast cancer in their country, particularly where breast cancer is often stigmatised.
RENESANSA wants to raise awareness on the importance of early detection of breast cancer; support breast cancer patients psychologically and socially to cope with treatment; improve the quality of life during and after treatment; and educate and raise awareness on breast cancer.

First meeting with Think Pink Europe
On March 12, a video conference was arranged with Think Pink Europe to discuss our association “RENESANSA”.
The meeting was attended by Mrs. Pakize Kiseri, Zerafet Vrmica, Visar Kasembegu, Shehije Rama, Aida Mashkulli, Shefide Azari and Blerina Bytyqi.
Think Pink Europe is a European organization that brings together many other organizations from around the world to fight breast cancer together, influencing our entire society in raising awareness to prevent and detect cancer as early as possible breast.
In this meeting we were given the opportunity to join them with the project Race of the Cure Europe 2019.

February 4 – World Cancer Day Establishment of the RENESANSA association
On February 4, 2017, RENESANSA, the Association of Women for the Fight against Breast Cancer was founded in Prizren to respond to the major need of support for women affected by breast cancer and their family in Kosovo. The association was created by breast cancer survivors for women, diagnosed with breast cancer, to give them a better access to information and a place where they can exchange information and experiences.
